I am wondering what makes people want to change the idea of stratification? Also why is stratification looked down on as such a bad thing? How many people are affected by the idea of stratification? How do the people who are affected by stratification feel?

People want to make new ideas and put them in effect to do that you have to remove an old system and replace it with a new one.

It is looked at as a bad thing because of ras.ism and s.exism That often means hardship and pain for us, and we see the power of the group over us as a negative force affecting our lives. Negative power can be looked at as a bad thing.

The structure of society affects a person's social standing. Although individuals may support or fight inequalities, social stratification is created and  Meritocracy is an ideal system based on the belief that social stratification is the result of statification . women are disproportionately affected by poverty and much of the population .

determined by education, income, and occupation levels, impacts families and shapes lives and opportunities. Poor families have fewer material resources and opportunities, and often live in neighborhoods and school districts that are less desirable and more chances of s.uicide and self harm these eople feel really sad unwanted and left out from society
