In your own words, summarize the main idea of song of myself. using three supporting details from the poem, explain how whitman expresses his views regarding the continuous cycle of life and death.

Life should be celebrated, everything comes and goes,  dead is beautyful as is part of life and is inevitable.

From Whitman’s point of view life should be celebrated and should be admired with every single stage and piece of it, he says you need to be aware of all that is surrounding you, avoiding looking with the information or the eyes of someone else, at this point you should discover the meaning of the world by yourself by playing attention with your own senses. Another point of the poem is living life now and feeling it, He asserts that there is not evilness on this world as he says ‘’ every single particle is clean’’, he recognizes there is bad days, but they come and go as the breeze. And in the cycle of life everything comes and goes, from the own soil we come there we will depart.  The author shows us the different stages and thoughts the character has through this poem and at the end, to him dead is beautiful as well as inevitable.
