How can something so simple transform a person's life? explain why.

I think because something so simple can go a long way.Like something do simple can pull a trigger of emotion to you because it reminds you of something when you were a little kid. Or if something sad happened you had that memory.

I think it really has something to do with something happens that's unexpected, which affects people whether it's simple or large.

Let me give you an example. So I'm a rising senior in college and made friends with a female  Police Officer, who was my RAD instructor. She reached out to me first and said if I ever needed a friend or someone to talk to that she was there for me. That touched me so much that she was willing to reach out to me, a complete stranger.  Now she and I talk constantly and when I have a chance I try to meet with her once a month if schedule allows.  :)

substitute y = 2x - 4 to x + 2y = 12:

x + 2(2x - 4) = 12     use distributive property

x + (2)(2x) + () = 12

x + 4x - 8 = 12     add 8 to both sides

5x = 20     divide both sides by 5

x = 4

put the value of x to the first equation:

y = 2(4) - 4

y = 8 - 4

y = 4

answer: x = 4 and y = 4
