(1) today is a special day for all of us. (2) you may be a typical student who has not struggled in school. (3) you may be someone that hates math because numbers just do not make sense to you. (4) you may be a teacher or parent who struggled to believe that a student with a disability could learn to communicate or learn at all. (5) whatever your experiences, i ask you today to try seeing people differently. (6) people with disabilities or different abilities are valuable individuals who have hearts and want to have a good life.
