An adverb clause is a type of dependent clause (also known as a subordinate clause), and there are three types of dependent clauses—relative, noun, and adverb.  Adverb clauses can be moved around in a sentence, and the sentence will still make sense; however, if a relative clause or noun clause is moved around, the sentence will most likely become grammatically incorrect.  Here is an example of how an adverb clause (italicized) being placed at the beginning and at the end of the sentence.  Note how it makes perfect sense either way:

I will never oversleep as long as I set my alarm.

As long as I set my alarm, I will never oversleep.
