• conduct online research to find more information about the place you are describing and to find media pieces about it. take notes, and record the urls of the websites you use.
• use at least three of these media: text, audio, video, or visual image.

• include a title slide, two or three content slides, and a sources slide that contains the urls of your online sources.
• use organization, content, and style that is appropriate for an audience of your teacher and your peers.
• make an informal outline that briefly describes each of your slides or each major part of your document.

• you may create your project using a word processing presentation program or a slide program such as powerpoint®. include a title slide, two or three content slides, and a sources slide that contains the urls of your online sources. save the document to your computer with your name at the end of the filename (e. g., ng_ela9-10_w_11_ga_alice_jones). you will submit that document to your teacher for grading.

• arrange your media and your text in relation to each other so that they enhance and clarify the information you are presenting, and so that they add interest.
• plan brief introductions and explanations to go with your media pieces. add titles and captions to visual images.

• use language and media that will appeal to your audience’s interests and level of knowledge. if necessary, return to your plan to adjust your organization, use of media, or timing.
• review your work using the online checklist.
• after crafting your project, share it with others to get feedback.
revise
• revise and proofread your project using the feedback you have received, and then review your project using the online checklist.
• check that all of your media pieces are easy to perceive and understand, with clear information and attractive, legible layout.
