What is the history of greek mythology

Greek myth takes many forms, from religious myth’s of origin to folktales and legends of heroes. In terms of God’s, the Greek pantheon consists of 12 deities who were said to reside at Mount Olympus.

Greek mythology pertains to the stories and beliefs of Greek gods and godesses, heroes and heroines, mythical creatures, and magical places and items. Common Greek gods were Zeus (king of the gods), Hera (married to Zeus, queen of gods), Hermes, Poseidon, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hades, Apollo and Artemis, Athena, Aries, Demeter (has a daughter named Persephone), and Hestia. The three most powerful gods were Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Hades is the ruler of the Underworld, Zeus the sky, and  Poseidon the sea. Their predecessors were the Titans, and before that, Gaea (Mother Earth), and Neptune (Night Sky). There are many more stories, gods, heroes, and facts about Greek mythology.

use" was written by alice walker. this is a story about two sisters, dee

and maggie wanting to have the handmade quilt. maggie wants to use the thing

for its purpose, while dee appreciates it for being “her heritage”.   the quilt represents family heritage. it was

believed that only dedication and years of hard work can represent a  quilt. 

mama decided to give

the quilts to her less fortunate daughter, maggie because she believed that dee

could not hold the true meaning of their family heritage and   that she would not use the quilts for their

purpose. however, dee believed that maggie can’t appreciate the quilts just as

how she sees them, and she thought that the quilt will be put to “everyday use”

by maggie and within 5 years or so, the quilt will turn into a rag. in the story, dee strongly believed that maggie do not deserve the quilts.
