part 2: exposition
directions: use the answers from part 1: brainstorming to write your exposition paragraph. this should introduce the main characters, the conflict, and the setting. be sure to include descriptive details.

1. A teenager going through his parents divorce.

2. Characterization:

Protagonist: Mike 16 years old. Tall, skynny boy with red hair and freckles. He is going through his last highschool year. He lives in a little town called Alexandria, he likes videogames and does not enjoy sports very much.

Personality: He is a very shy boy and has a few friends, he doesn´t like to go to school but he is fond of computer class.

Antagonist: Kevin, 17 yaers old. Tall and strong, he belongs to the swiming team and algo practices a lot of sports. He is a very mean boy and is jalous of the fact that Mike is friends with the girl he likes. He is in the same classroom as Mike in mosto of the subjects.

Response to the conflict: He suffers because of his parents divorce, he toke the punchs for too long, until he has the chance to help Kevin in a problem and they become friends.

Plot: Both the protagonist and the antagonist are in love with the same girl and they are rivals.

Climax:  They both get in a fight and Mike responds for the first time and both are suspended. They are fighting because Sara is leaving Kevin for Mike.

Pont of view: The story is told in third person, omniscient narrator who knows what everyone is going through.

Explanation:

The conflict is solved beacause Mike helps Kevin in an accident they were both in and that is how the become friends. She dates Kevin but finally ends up with Mike and helps him through the difficult times.

I would influenced the readers by sharing how every character feels and thinks, different points of view of each caracter.

Part 2:

Mike is 16 years old. He is aTall, skynny boy with red hair and freckles. He is going through his last highschool year. He lives in a little town called Alexandria, he likes videogames and does not enjoy sports very much. He finds out his parents are divorcing and he is very sad. He has no friends and as he is so shy he doesn´t have much friends. One day he mets Sara and the become very close, this will bring more problems to Mike since he ends up falling for Sara who and the begging of the story has a boyfriend.
