As your smart car only has two seats, you take the woman about to go into labour to the hospital. The love of your life and your trustworthy friend are capable of surviving the rain and will still be there when you get back, whereas the woman in labour is in need and her unborn child is at risk due being outside and not having sufficient medical care available.

answer: this is not a good thesis statement because a thesis statement is not supposed to have questions in it. a thesis states your position on your topic. a question cannot state anything because it is not a statement. a question is a great lead in to a thesis, but it can't be the thesis.
