You will develop an informational essay to address this essential question about the ways in which the struggle for freedom changes with history. an informational essay is an essay that uses facts, details, data, and other kinds of evidence to present information on a topic. you will concentrate on the struggle for change as you develop your informational essay. your assignment is to write an informational essay in which you explore this question: are people more motivated to change from positive or negative experiences? (love, break-ups, deaths, births, new jobs, losing jobs, inform and educate the reader.

i. introduction (5-7 sentences minimum)
indent paragraph- background information: are people more motivated to change from positive or negative experiences? (you can use a hook, rhetorical questions, etc.)
then add thesis statement (purpose of your paper/topic). what two or three points will you be discussing? (this is the final sentence of your introduction)


ii. body paragraph 1 (5-7 sentences minimum)

indent paragraph- (main idea # 1)
