Urgent ! will give i have to write a 5 paragraph argumentataive essay draft about why we should not change the voting age. i already have the first 3 but i need with the last 2. but i can't use any websites for research, i can only use the 2 included for this assignment. first paragraph: many people believe 21 should be the allowed voting age because according to a washington post article on not lowering the voting age to 1, authors bruce western and vincent schiraldi pointed out that " the brain doesnt finnish developing until the mid 20s," that young adults "are more similar to adolescents than fully mature adults" and that they " are more susceptible to peer pressure and less future-oriented."second paragraph: despite the fact that teens 16+ can get their drivers license, doesn't mean they have somewhat decent judgment on who to vote for. sometimes people forget that who our house of representatives chooses to be our next president could have a bad effect on our state. when voting, every ones vote matters because it determines who our next president will be and how he or she will affect our state and world for the next 4 years or until impeachment. third paragraph: another article by damien medina with the san diego union tribune says, "at that point, the hype was that president obama was our first black president." " i know many of my classmates voted for president obama for the simple fact that he was black." this specific sentence caught my eye because it shows that teens sometimes dont think about the consequences or in this case other factors in voting for president obama. like damien medina mentioned in this article, " kids wanted to say they were part of history by re-electing our first black president." this means that most of his classmates most likely didnt look at other benefits and flaws in electing obama and focused on trying to be a part of america's history not thinking of possible consequences.

Constructing an argument: in modern american society, the legalization of marijuana continues to be controversial and hotly debated. some people find it contradictory that certain "drugs"—such as tobacco and alcohol—are legalized even though they pose proven health risks, while marijuana, which has many medicinal applications, continues to be illegal by the federal government. what reasons do you think the federal government gives for outlawing marijuana, and do the reasons support the conclusion?
