Squealer, who is used by Napoleon, can convince Boxer that Snowball has always been a traitor. Squealer, who is a literate pig, uses his words to manipulate the rest of the animals. These are all illiterate. In this excerpt, he speaks "categorically" to manipulate the obedient working class. Boxer, the horse, represents the working class.
