At the beginning of 1941, all Jews in the Netherlands must register.

Jewish doctors, lawyers, and other Jewish professionals could only serve the Jewish community. All Jewish farms had to be sold. Jews were not allowed to go to public parks or pools.

In her diary, Anne explains that Jews weren't allowed to ride in cars, own bicycles, attend the theatre, or use any public sporting facilities.
