Transitions have a very important role in writing, they put your writing together and help you to achive your goal in writing. Whether it is to constrast information or even to persuade the reader agree with you in a point of view, transtions are there to help you. It is by making a logical connection between sentences that we can communicate an idea. Transions can create a relationship between ideas and link them together in order to guide the reader to your final goal. Here you can find some examples of transitions: "Although I feel hungry, I don't want to eat" here we have two contrasting ideas linked by the transition "although". Another example, "I really enjoed traveling to Rome my last vacation, I had so much visiting the museums. Besides, I got to visit the Colliseum and took some beautiful pictures. In this last example we are adding information with th transition "besides".
