After reading the poem "on turning 10" answer this question. what does the speaker suggest about the role that imagination and creativity play in our lives when we are young compared with the role they play as we get older? do you agree with him?

The author suggested that being a child was quite fun and interesting as he could pretend being whatever and whoever he wanted to. Obviously, that happened due to his high creativity and imagination, as he created all those characters and situations himself. Then he realized as he got older that life wasn’t that fun as he became more realistic and aware of the world as it actually is. He claimed that once he got older his imaginary friends no longer existed, for instance, suggesting that his imagination now was nothing like it was when he was younger, and that made him sad. I do agree with the author when he suggests that as people grow older they become less creative and stop using their imagination. Unfortunately we tend to worry about problems, bills to pay, health issues, relationships, work, etc and we need to have a more realistic approach to life because of it. And once we do it, creativity and imagination stop playing such an important role in our lives.
