there’s been multiple headlines about them. they’ve attacked, killed, and even eaten people. they’re well known, and maybe you know. everyone’s had to have heard about godzilla, just think of it that way. they’re basically giant lizards. did someone say komodo dragon? well yes, they’re right.
according to scientists, komodo dragons have been on this earth for over a million years, so if anyone is wondering, yes, they’re quite old. their main prey is timor deer, and some bird species. they’ll pretty much eat anything, so don’t go somewhere that’s known for having komodo dragons. if approached by a komodo dragon, one should probably move in the opposite direction and climb a tree if possible. adult komodos don’t really climb well, only the babies do. with a speed of up to 12 mph, you can probably outrun it, if the person is in shape. but they’re going to have to put some effort into it. they should not allow the animal to get close enough to make a dash at you.

komodo dragons lurk around places and terrorize towns, they attack and sometimes even eat people, and what’s weird is that they eat their own babies! (which is 10% of their diet) they attack multiple other species, such as birds, deer, other small species, and sometimes animals bigger than them. but that’s all really part of the food chain (except for them eating their own babies and humans, of course.)

people sometimes evacuate their homes just because of the komodo dragons that lurk around in the area and even sometimes right by their home. which then causes the people to not have a place to stay, therefore putting them in more danger. and baby komodo dragons have to be quick when emerging from their eggs and running away, otherwise they become a tasty treat for their mom.

as a solution, people have put their homes on stilts and higher ground to get away from the komodo dragons. maybe if there was a lonely island where no humans live, we could just put the komodo dragons on that island and take them away from the people. but that would be hard to find all of them and take them.
