On the ground, I had felt so fragile and vulnerable. But up here? Up here was a different story. Up here was a different world. A world where I felt strong and that everything was meant to be. The words hung in the breeze, unspoken, but still there: this was meant to be. I saw the earth below me. The blanket of grass moved in slow, lazy waves in the same breeze that carried me aloft. Everything melded into a gradient of colors, like an oil painting that has been smeared. And it was beautiful.
