30 ! ya'll this is very frustrating. i am looking for a book series but i can't remember the title or the author. it is about a boy and he is uploaded with a chip and sent to a school. he refuses a partnership offer with someone but he forced to because the man uploads something on his chip that makes him want to do everything he wants. i just remember that he ends up with frostbite somehow and loses his fingers. somehow he ends up in space and has to escape. the main characters name started with a j i think. i also remember a chapter where he has to act like a dog because the teacher programed him as a demonstration. i don't remember all the details but i really want to read it again! if you have any ideas of what it is plz tell !
