Demonstrate by showing that water travels into the leaves of plants. (what you need: Place dyed(maybe red or blue food dye) water for plant roots to absorb in a transparent bottle).

Have 3 of the plants, put one each in a bottle of dyed water over 3 days.
the first plant should have dyed leaves.
the second shows dyed water traveling halfway to the stem.
the newest third plant shows dyed roots.

Ending speech: This shows that plants take in water from the roots then up the stem and finally to the leaves.
