You need to clarify the argument: Are you arguing about expectations, cultural differences, learning problems, challenges or adaptation? (Or maybe a mixture?) You need to decide how you are going to implement each of these into both comparisons with allowance for differences (which you explain if needed). Your meaning in your essay is dabbling and the comparison is difficult to grasp. Comparing a deep cultural heritage to going to college is vague unless you add supporting arguments from both sides. I found myself confused at the end instead of persuaded.

I think you need to somehow make sense of what you are writing through a mind map or basic plan that asks questions like: "(1) What is my argument or comparisson?", "(2) What is my body? (Basic summaries that are relevant that argue or support topic 1, topic 2, etc)", "(3) What is my conclusion?") Your mind map (once it makes sense should aid you in correcting or clarifying certain points, discarding information that is unnecessary or meaningless.) You need to underline key aspects and ideas that need to come through in your essay so you’re not just telling a story.
