1. Julie Lythcott-Haims means that the kids don’t get to be themselves anymore. Because of the pressure imposed by parents to their kinds to be perfect, they don’t get to appreciate their childhood which should be a significant concern.

2. A check-listed childhood opposes the idea of positive parenting because this could prompt the child to grow up in a high-stressed and depressed manner which is the complete opposite of encouraging good behavior and promoting healthy self-esteem in their children.

3. Self- efficacy an individual’s belief in his or her innate ability to achieve goals. This is an important part because what you think of yourself will somehow shape your future. Believe that you will succeed, and you will. Otherwise, think you'll fail, and you'll doubt your abilities causing you to actually fail.

5. No, I don’t feel as if I lived a checklist childhood because I was able to be free and not have to worry about being perfect. My parents didn't pressure me in any way. I think this had a positive impact on me because I was able to be myself without any worries. I was taught what is right from wrong but know that there will be learnings from my mistakes along the way. People aren't designed to be completely perfect.

7. The attribute is when your baby is hitting his baby sister, the behavior is the hitting, and the consequence could be the time spent in timeout.
