An ordinary egg can be approximated as a sphere of 5 cm in diameter. The egg is initially at a uniform temperature of 5 degree C. If we suddenly drop it into boiling water at 100 degree C. How long will it take for the center of the egg to reach 70 degree C. The convection heat transfer coefficient is 1200 W/m^2 K. Water conductivity is around 0.63 W/mK at 35-40 degree C.
