When changing a topside canister filter, you should always: Wear the proper PPE and use a socket wrench to tighten the filter in place
Inspect the gasket to make sure it didn't get pinched and rev the vehicle for 5 minutes.
Use the correct tools, replace the o-ring gasket, and use a torque wrench to tighten the filter in place.
Infect the gasket to make sure it didn't get pinched and wipe down the oil filter during the zoom
process.
