Request a six-hour job-shadowing assignment, and prepare a report in a format of your choice to relate your experience. A PowerPoint with pictures would be a great choice. In your report, be sure to include the systems you had an opportunity to see. During your job shadowing, discuss the employment field with your mentor. Your finished product should explain your experiences.
