imagine a pipe that splits into a Y where each upper branch of the Y is at a 45 degree angle from the main stem. The inflow is through the main stem base of the Y, where the pipe is0.3 m diameter and has an upstream pressure of 380 kPa. One of the branches of the Y is a 0.1m diameter pipe where the flow exits to atmospheric pressure. The other branch of the Y is a 0.2m diameter pipe where the flow goes into other piping at a pressure of 200 kPa. Determine the candy reaction forces. You may assume the flow is steady state and neglect shear stress and weight.
