PROJECT: RESEARCH A GREEN TECHNOLOGY In this project, you will choose one of the technologies in this lesson to investigate further. You will use outside sources to increase your understanding of how the technology works, you will sketch a diagram(s) that illustrates its key component(s), and you will write a 500-word description of your diagram.

In this assignment, you will:

Choose to research either one of the alternative vehicles or one of the building heating or cooling systems.
Find at least three resources that explain how this technology uses alternative energy. These references can be online sources, or you may perform a library search.
Sketch the features in your technology’s design that you think are key to explaining how it converts alternative energy into a usable power source. You don’t need to draw all of the features of your technology; draw only those features that are most relevant to explaining how the device uses the alternative power supply. For instance, if you choose to research the electric car, you don’t need to draw the entire car. Rather, you may choose to focus on how the battery and electric motor connect to the wheels. You must submit at least one sketch; you should draw as many sketches as you need to fully explain the functioning of your device. All of your sketches should be neatly drawn, clearly labeled, and titled.
Describe your sketch in a 500-word essay. Your essay should focus on explaining how your technology converts alternative energy into useable power. Your description should refer to your diagram. Make sure to cite your references at the bottom of the essay.

All of your labeled and titled sketches.
Your 500-word essay with your references cited at the end.
