Water flowing in a pipe at a rate of 30 kg/s enters a valve at state 1. The temperature and pressure at state 1 are 300 Celsius and 10 MPa, respectively. The water leaves the valve at state 2 and immediately enters a flash chamber operating at 500 kPa. The vapor leaves the flash chamber at state 3 and the liquid leaves at state 4. Determine the following: a. The enthalpy at state 1
b. The quality at state 2
c. The temperature at state 2
e. The mass flow rate of liquid leaving the chamber
