Cortical bone sample has 200 mm long, outside Dia. 50 mm and 40 mm diameter medullary cavity. It is fixed with 20 mm diameter metal prosthetic device and bone cement in it. The axial compressive load 1KN is applied. Calculate the following: a) Stresses and strains in longitudinal direction each component. b) An equivalent modulus with and without bone cement. Compare the two equivalent Moduli.
