He then conducts a complex analysis that assesses all of the direct and indirect costs associated with the product’s design. He will periodically meet with the team to see if adjustments can be made to help meet the cost goals.
Tim is working on the cost of designing a building. At the moment, he is including the rent of the space that the engineers are using as well as the cost of the land for the building. Building permits are also included in this process.
While assessing the cost of a computer design, Aaron must determine the cost of a new material the engineers would like to use. He also must include the engineers’ salaries.
