A dehumidifier receives air with a 60% relative humidity at 300 K, 1 bar, and the dehumidifier releases air at 287.6 K, 1 bar, and 90% relative humidity. The volumetric flow rate of air in the dehumidifier is 4.72 m3/min. The dried air then mixes with a wet air stream at 308.5 K, 1 bar, and 47% relative humidity with a 55 m3/min volumetric flow rate in an insulated chamber. Ignoring heat losses and changes in kinetic and potential energy, determine: The rate of water condensation in the dehumidifier, in kg/h The temperature and relative humidity of the exit air stream from the chamber.

An open feedwater heater operates at steady state with liquid entering at inlet 1 with t? = 40°c and pl = 1 .2 mpa. water vapor att2-200°c and p2 = 1.2 mpa enters at inlet 2. saturated liquid water exits with a pressure of pa 1.2 mpa. neglect heat transfer with the surroundings and all kinetic and potential energy effects, determine the mass flow rate of steam at inlet 2 if the mass flow rate of liquid water at inlet 1 is given as 2 kg/s.
