A four-segment 2D Hermite form parametric cubic curve goes through the following points: (1, 6), (3, 8), (6, 4), (11, 5), and (14, 1).
The curve has a starting tangent vector (x’, y’) = (1, 1) at the point (1, 6) and an ending tangent vector (x’, y’) = (1, -1) at the point (14,1). Assume that the multi-segment curve has second-order (C2) curvature continuity through the intermediate points.
A. Determine the tangent vectors at the intermediate points.
B. Determine the equation for each segment of the multi-segment curve.
C. Plot the multi-segment curve using any software.
