MayCee's is a department store. The store sells fashion clothing and accessories to customers, and purchases its inventory from suppliers worldwide. The store plans to implement an automated ordering system, from customer ordering a piece of store item to store placing an purchase order. A customer wishing to purchase items provides their store membership card, which is associated with a credit card used to open the customer account. New customers fill out a form with their personal details and credit card details, and the counter staff enters the data into a customer database and gives the new customer a membership card. Suppliers send out available fashion clothing and accessories catalogs to the department store, who decides whether to send a purchase order and payment. If a purchase order is sent to a supplier then the supplier ships the requested items to the store. For each new order, a new stock form is completed and related data is entered into the inventory database.
