Description: The beam is clamped on the left hand side, and it is allowed to move vertically on the right hand side but it i s n ot allowed to have a slope. The length of the beam is 15 inches and it is subject to a non uniform distributed load that follows a relationship q (x) = 1000 (x/10)^2 lbf/inch, and acts on the beam from x=0 (clamped end) to x=10 inches. The cross section is made of two pieces bonded together as shown. The modulus of the beam is 15 Msi.
