One pound of air in a piston-cylinder assembly undergoes a thermodynamic cycle consisting of three processes;
Process 1 > 2: Constant specific volume heating
Process 2 > 3: Constant temperature expansion
Process 3 > 1 : Constant pressure compression
At state (1), the temperature is 300 K and 1 bar. At state (2), the pressure is 2 bars. Throughout the cycle, air behaves as an ideal gas with R = 8.314 kJ/(kmol * K). M=29 kg/kmol.
(1) Sketch the cycle on a p-v diagram.
(2) Determine the temperature at state
(3) Determine the specific volume at state
(4) Determine the change in internal energy for process 2 > 3
