You are designing a circuit to drive LED1, using the following circuit. The datasheet for the LED specifies that VF = 2 V. Treat LEDs as diodes with the constant voltage model. (a) Find the expected current through the LED I(LED) when VF = 2 V (b) After testing, it is determined that some LEDs within a batch do not light up correctly in the circuit for part a. It is suspected that this is because there is some variation in among the LEDs in the batch. Find the maximum value of VF such that the circuit above stops working I(LED) drops to zero so you can characterize this problem and report it to the manufacturer.

True or false (explain) (110)[111] is a slip system in bcc metals . the {111} family in fcc contains 8 planes. resolved shear stress (rss) in single crystals is just related to the applied stress. critical resolved shear stress (crss) in single crystal metals is direct proportional to the number of defects in the structure

On solidification from a melt, the polymer polyethylene forms a semi-crystalline spherulite structure. (i) sketch an individual spherulite and label the amorphous and crystalline regions. (ii) draw a schematic to show the changes in specific volume with temperature during cooling from the melt, comparing it to the theoretical extremes of fully crystalline and fully amorphous (indicate tm and tg)
