You are part of the designing team for a new solar thermal power plant. The plant will use thermal energy storage to produce electricity both during the day (when the sun is shining) and at night (when the sun is not shining!). The chosen storage fluid will be a salt, sodium nitrate (NaNO3). The liquid salt circulates through the concentrated solar energy collectors (mirrors) and achieves a temperature of 623 °C. It is then stored in a cylindrical tank that is 9.1 m in height and 24 m in diameter. The salt stored in the tank is then used to produce 100 MW of electricity for 4 hours. The efficiency of the process is 93% (Wow!). What is the final temperature of the salt in the tank at the end of the electricity-generating process (in °C)? 744.12K = 470.97℃
