The reaction A --> C is to be carried out in a plug flow reactor that is operating at steady state. The volumetric flow rates of the streams in and out are equivalent at 0.5 L/s.
Calculate the volume of the plug flow reactor (in Liters) that is required to reduce the concentration of A from 15 mol/L down to 5mol/L.
You may assume that the rate of destruction of A is equivalent to kCA, where k =0.05 s-1.
