Hurricane flintstone has knocked out the power to your home. you need to power the two appliances you connected in problem 1. your neighbor has a bonda generator and they have graciously extended a 50 foot extension cord to your home that has a resistance of 0.0075ω per foot of wire. (how many "wires" in an extension cord? ) by how much is the delivered power reduced? (you will have to calculate the "resistive load" of the above appliances! )

from the previous problem, one appliance consumed 1100 watts and the other consumed 900 watts. they were connected in the previous problem to a 120v outlet
