Aflow of nitrogen n2 at 350k and 200 kpa at a speed of 100 m/s through a channel measuring 10 μm in diameter (the kinematic viscosity of n2 is 1.09 × 10−5 m2 /s, the sound speed is 381 m/s) . use the reynolds number to figure out if the flow is laminar or turbulent and can we use the the continuum theory (i. e. navier stokes equations) to decribe the flow? if yes, explain what type of boundary condition should we use (slip or nonslip).
