I NEED HELP WITH THIS LAB Part 1: Lab Equipment or Packet Tracer (2 screenshots) 1. Design, document, and configure a basic LAN using 1 2960 switch and 2 PCs.

2. Use an IP addressing scheme of 10.n. n.h with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.

3. Ensure the numbers in the host portion of the IP address, the port, and the name match.

4. Documentation should be on the topology and include device names, ports, and IP addresses.

5. Generate network traffic between the PCs to add both PCs to the Switch MAC Address Table.

6. Console into the Switch and view the MAC Address Table on the switch. Note: depending on the IOS version on real equipment, the command may be show mac address-table or show mac-address-table

7. Submit a Word document with a screenshot of o your topology (including documentation) o the PC consoled into the Switch showing the MAC Address Table on the switch. (Topology and MAC Address Table examples on Page 2.)

PART 2
Part 2: Your PC (5 screenshots)

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator on your PC (Right-click. See screenshot below.)

2. Use Command Prompt on your PC to view your MAC address, IP address, and default gateway.

3. Use Command Prompt on your PC to show your ARP table.

4. Use Command Prompt on your PC to show clear your ARP cache.

If you get the error “The ARP entry deletion failed: The requested operation requires elevation.”, you

will need to go back and reopen Command Prompt as administrator.)

5. Ping your default gateway.

6. Use Command Prompt on your PC to show your ARP table.

7. Submit a Word document with a screenshot of numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
