You are interested in analyzing some hard-to-obtain data from two separate databases. Each database contains n numerical values-so there are 2n values total-and you may assume that no two values are the same. You'd like to determine the median of this set of 2n values, which we will define here to be the nth smallest value. However, the only way you can access these values is through queries to the databases. In a single query, you can specify a value k to one of the two databases, and the chosen database will return the kth smallest value that it contains. Since queries are expensive, you would like to compute the median using as few queries as possible.

we can all learn from our past mistakes because we all have different ways of learning different types of techniques. my way may or may not another classmate remember and have the repetition to acknowledge such standard. such as remembering acronyms. using abbreviations to us remember keep things in order in our memory. this us figure out what comes next in the sequence. if so, what we have is a sentence of just letters all in caps. we either know the meaning or have no idea what it stands for. most of the time we know the meaning and context. but most of us who don't know, should learn by having a quick glance at what needs to be remembered. such as repetition in the memory for acronyms. one way that me, is the fact that i'm always doing math and english assignments. so we have to remember specific meanings such as soapstone for documents, such as citing correctly. or pemdas for doing the equations correctly, even if it's the super long way. this works for everyone. you just have to find what works for you by practicing and repetition daily.
