WordPress, a very powerful blogging and website content management system, is not only very easy to use but also has the ability to accept posts via email. This capability would be very useful for the testimonial submission process for your client. As the designer, you must decide whether testimonials are emailed directly to the site on WordPress or whether these testimonial submissions go to an in-office administrator, to be approved before uploading. Even if the company welcomes comments that are negative as well as positive, they may wish to choose to avoid the posting of unsuitable material or anything off-subject. Remember, designers can give contributors access to post, but an administrator will have to approve the post before it can be published anyway. So think about it. Setting Up Post by Email
Note that any sort of email client can send a post to WordPress. This is handy because many people use Webmail email. Also, many people use their cell phones to send and receive email. First, before you can accept posts by email, you have to set up a special address. On the dashboard, under the My Blogs heading, click the enable button under the column for Post by E-mail.

WordPress creates this menu item:

Regenerate creates a new email (and disables the last one generated). Vcard creates an MS Outlook vCard address card that can be sent via email to anyone who should be allowed to post. Delete shuts off the service. The service sends an email to the primary account holder when a post has been made. You can also set up the system to accept a post by voice:

Voice post has similar controls. As you prepare for your project, think about the following questions: What are the drawbacks to these posting methods? Is there a way to post pictures with a voice post? Once a post has been published, how can it be hidden? Can you publish a post to draft via email or voice?
