There are many characteristics needed to be a successful entrepreneur. One of which is leadership, it may sound very cliche however, if you expect to lead your own company, this is expected of you. Also, if you strive to be an entrepreneur, you must have perseverance. Running a company is very tough and with that brings on many challenges, you must have perseverance to follow through. Another necessary trait is optimism, if you start to think negatively about yourself or your company it will reflect with a new assortment of issues. Lastly, a must-have characteristic of all entrepreneurs is energy. Running a business will take all of your time and energy, you have to have the energy for this huge commitment.
