Which layer of the osi model will you find the filtering firewalls?

The obvious answer is Layer 3, the network layer. but it's not always the case.

Point in case. Since firewalls essentially filter data, the answer depends on what kind of filtering you do.

If you filter based on IP address (for example), you can say that your firewall is filtering at layer 3. If you filter specific ports, you can say you're filtering at layer 4. If your firewall inspects specific protocol states or data, you can say it operates at layer 7.

The truth is that most firewalls do all these things in combination. So practically speaking there really is no useful answer to your question.

Imean it could be either both i get why it could be part of being human because some people just look at the famous people and they probably think to themselves that if that person does that well then i should do it and maybe i’ll get the attention and followers that i want. it could be also connected to the current young phenomenon because some kids at the age of 14 are already famous like for doing the most nasty things probably without even thinking who would probably watch such thing, they just do it cause they know they’ll get the attention that they want. sorry if i didn’t use correct grammar.but hope this answers the question< 3
