Explanation:

In MS PowerPoint presentation, objects can be moved vertically or horizontally. There is an option menu in file to set whether the object is moved vertically or horizontally or both (with checkboxes). To avail this option, the end user has to set this option for his or her desired option such that the object could be moved vertically or horizontally or both.

The object can be text, GIF , image, video etc. The end user can insert these types of objects in presentation either horizontally or vertically within the gridlines of a slide. In case , if the end user didn’t set the option, the default option may be either vertical or horizontal  and the objects cannot be moved properly.
