Um its a weird question, but i want to ask anyways. dont report! i really need an answer!

i was playing a lan minecraft server with a few friends and we were all lagging like crazy! we've tried some things to fix it but its still not working anyone have and tips to u fix it?

i would love if you answer this asap with only a super answer and i will delete any answers that are just for the points or that dont work or just really dumb answers (just fyi)

okay here is what i got.

try restarting your wifi router and if that doesn't work then restart the console.

other than that i got nothing

solution:

this situation is called an ip conflict.

data from a server is sent in small bits called packets. in an ip conflict, some packets will end up in one computer while some other packets will end up in another computer.

so…overall none of the computers get the data as the original message or picture being sent by the server cannot be retrieved with only half the packets. so it will show up as an error.
