How many moles of carbon dioxide will form if 5.5 moles of c3h8 is burned

We have that the mol of CO₂. formed  is mathematically given as

The reaction will form 16.2 mol of CO₂.

Generally the equation for the Chemical Reaction  is mathematically given as

C₃H₈ + 5O₂ > 3CO₂ + 4H₂O

You want to convert moles of C₃H₈ to moles of CO₂

The molar ratio is 3 mol CO₂:1 mol C₃H₈

Moles of CO2= 5.5 mol C₃H₈ * (3 mol CO₂/1 mol C₃H₈)  

Moles of CO2=16.2

Therefore

The reaction will form 16.2 mol of CO₂.
