                   As we know atoms react in order to gain stability. Now, the bonding is done by several ways. Among these ways one is the mutual sharing of electrons between two atoms. Neither one completely accepts nor donate the electron instead they share it equally. If this sharing is purely equal then the bond formed is non polar in nature (like bonds between similar atoms), on the other hand if this sharing is not equal then one atom will get partial positive (less electron density) and other will get partial negative (more electron density) charge like in HCl.
