What is one benefit of using tides for energy

It’s completely renewable in that we don’t need to consume anything to get energy. essentially after we can harvest it, it’s free energy

Tidal energy has a high energy density, meaning that the tides store a larger amount of energy than most other forms of renewable energy, such as the wind.
