Which materials are typically used as thermal insulators

These are :

1.Fiber glass. It is made up of finely woven silicon and glass powder and is able to minimize heat transfer.

2. Mineral wool. This may refer to glass wool which is really fiberglass manufactured from recycled glass, or rock wool which is made from basalt,

3.Cellulose. This is made from recycled cardboard and is one of the most eco-friendly forms of insulation.

4. Polyurethane foam: While not the most abundant of insulation, polyurethane foams are an excellent form of insulation.
